Marriage is great.

Many weddings later, I’ve learned that it’s ok that the day flys by. All of the good days do. When I’m around I try to catch the story and the vibe to help slow things down later.

Hi I’m Jeremy. My wife and I were in our first wedding together in 2005. And it was awesome. We paid $500 for our photos. They weren’t as good as yours will be. But that’s ok, It’s not a photoshoot, it’s a wedding. Congrats on finding the one. We wish you well. 💕Jeremy and Ashley Kester

  • It’s pretty simple, as much as possible. I’ve been a photographer for a few(ok like a million) years now. And although the occasional last minute elopement works out, some brides were seniors of mine years back and call me before the boyfriend. I’m kidding(that’s only happened a few times. But I’d say, list your priorities for the wedding, and all the #1 first and so on.

  • The average investment is in the $4000 range. Some weddings are much more because of the love for handcrafted Albums. Or because of the desire for more artists on site. But some are a bit less because they are a few magical hours under your grandfathers tree. When it comes to budget, It’s all about budget priority. My couples tend to have their photographs at 1 or 2. I’m humbled and flattered by that, and it puts positive energy into my work knowing that.

  • This is an important question. If you’re asking about my aesthetic, I honestly don’t know.
But my style, is more of a fashion journalism. True journalists should never interfere with the subject. Their job is to capture beauty and narrative, but above all, accuracy and honesty. I however, know why I’m invited to your wedding day.
I will likely be the one who has been to the most weddings (even counting the elderly) out oof all who attend.
So although I want to be accurate and honest about your day, I find myself meddling to draw out a bit more of what is true and beautiful.
If I see your eyes begin to soften, I may ask you to sit one chair over(where the guy eating his burrito is obscured). I may ask a question to settle you into the moment a bit more.
Every photo I take is real.
    No “say Cheese.”
    No “look happy”
Only, laughter because the joke was cheesy.
And “wow, she is so happy right now”

  • Anywhere with natural or architectural beauty. And ideally very minimal travel between locations. But ultimately, somewhere that inspires you, or you feel at home, or you feel swanky, or…..well, you feel al to of anything. Don’t think “Backgrounds”, think “vibe”.

How you feel when you are there is more important than what it looks like.

  • I mean, a super fun time. But I know what you mean.

Portion sizes are important in food and art. I have found that with around 60 images, you’ll have one that you love forever. You’ll a few that you really really like. And the rest you’ll be glad you have.

So my goal is to tell the story of your day in a beautiful, moving, chronological way in about 60 images. Those photos are my artistic interpretation of your day.

But it takes more than 60 to get 60:) So I’ll also color correct every usable image in a separate gallery.
You never know when you’ll really Cherish that throw away picture of Aunty laughing until she cried.

So two galleries, online, easy to download and share. And you can also but some prints from the gallery(but if you don’t really care about the print quality, just download and order you own:)

I present those images in an online gallery. Typically on the same or the next day.

  • You’ll share the link to your web gallery with friends and family. They can digitally download the images to print on their own. Or You can order prints from the gallery and I’ll have them shipped directly to their address.

You heard that right. No more “Oh my Brenda! Can you print me a 4x6 and ship it to me?”

    I gotchu.

  • I get it. I call these shoots “Walkabouts”. And let’s be honest, we’re talking primarily about boys here.

Just let me know if this is what you want. Bring a casual pair of pants and a snazzy pair. Then bring a few shirts with both pairs of pants and maybe a sports coat.

We’ll just hang out and keep it casual.

  • We adapt and your photos are more exciting:) Oh nature

  • Ugh, welcome to adulthood. But you’re going to look awesome. Don’t stress it. I gotcha. “It takes a lot of work to look this natural”
